Base Messages is a standard WordPress admin area Custom Post Type (CPT) editor. This is a very basic CPT user interface. Each error and success message produced by the system has a record and the description/HTML can be changed to update the message banners accordingly. Do not change the titles as these are system keywords.
- Create Missing Base messages that are not present in your Association Engine install will automatically be created. Default values will be used and any existing message will not be overwritten.
- Reset All Creates all Base messages automatically. Any existing message will be overwritten to it’s default value.
Some messages feature inserts and will contain %s for strings and %d for decimal values to be inserted. Please follow baseline messages to cater them accordingly. The import file is available to restore messages to the default values. Each must be published in order to display properly.
