Pongos created a blog community for the American Geophysical Union (http://blogs.agu.org). We delivered the entire site, including wireframes, design, a custom BuddyPress theme, and content migration in just under a month. For this website, each of the blogs is a sub-site within the WordPress multi-site implementation, and makes use of theme options to give each of the blogs a slightly different appearance.
